A first look

Wondering if tomorrow’s the day? Check your phone.

The Bluepow app answers the two questions skiers ask, for the resort you’re going to: will it be bluebird, and will there be powder? It’s in development, and these are the screens we’re building.

Lock screen notification: bluebird tomorrow at Engelberg-Titlis, 64% chance of a sunny, cloud-free ski day
The night before. A bluebird call at 19:00, only when the odds are worth it.
Today screen on the free plan: tomorrow’s calls across your 3 resorts, 2 bluebird and no powder, the bluebird and powder odds for each resort with Engelberg-Titlis at 64% bluebird, and a Plus card saying powder is on the way at Grindelwald
Tomorrow, in one number. The odds for your resort, with the snow, sky and wind that matter.
Resorts near you as a list: the top 10 of 15 resorts within 150 km of Lucerne, ranked by Friday’s odds, with fresh snow, drive time and directions for each. Hoch-Ybrig leads at 73%.
Where to go, ranked. The best resorts within your drive, with directions one tap away.
Resort screen for Engelberg-Titlis: the 4Kasta 5-day outlook with snow and bluebird odds, Friday marked as the best day, directions from Lucerne, and the reasons behind Friday’s call.

Know when to go

With Plus, powered by 4Kasta, every resort gets the 5-day outlook with the best day picked out, and a plain-language reason for the call: how much snow by first lift, when the cloud clears, whether the wind will stop the lifts.

Resorts near you on the map, filtered to bluebird days: each resort is a Bluepow pin, and the resorts with a bluebird day on Friday are yellow. Engelberg-Titlis is selected: bluebird 64%, powder 2%, snow depth 100 cm, 41 km and 45 minutes by car.

Resorts near you, your way

Not tied to one resort? With Plus, set your start point, driving range and snow depth, then see on a list or a map which resorts are most likely to get powder, a bluebird day, or either, with the distance and directions to each.

Alerts screen in Plus: a bluebird call the night before at 19:00 when the odds reach 40%, and powder alerts up to 3 days out at 15 cm.

We tell you the night before

Set the odds that are worth a day off, and the snow depth that’s worth an early start. Bluepow sends a bluebird call at 19:00 the night before, and a powder heads-up up to three days out.

Tomorrow’s call, at a glance

Coming soon: home-screen widgets will show the next bluebird call or powder day without opening the app. Yellow only ever means one thing: a bluebird call is on.

Home-screen widgets: a yellow bluebird widget for Engelberg-Titlis at 64% tomorrow with powder odds and snow depth, a Plus widget with the next powder day at Grindelwald, 69% on Tuesday, a medium widget with tomorrow’s bluebird and powder odds and snow depth for 3 resorts, and the app icon

Preview screens from the app in development. Forecasts, resorts and dates shown are examples, not real forecasts, and features may change before launch. Accuracy figures come from testing on past winters (2021/22 to 2025/26); see the scorecard for the full results and method.
